I understand that it's 10 a.m. on a Sunday. But I wanted to give my favorite drink, the wet gin martini served up with a twist, a shout out an behalf of the anniversary of repeal day. H.L. Mencken called the martini "the only American invention as perfect as the sonnet." Mr. Mencken, I agree.
